Noon in Harrisonburg, VA. The CV Boot has been more or less successfully replaced. Friend Steve from Lucky the Duckmobile commented on the irony that the best looking car in the bunch was the one to break down. We consider that the ultimate compliment.
The fix entailed patching together three different size boot replacement kits. True BABE spirit, and best of all, we think it will work. Now, how to fit the car ramps we purchased in the Vegginator in case we need them later?
Final challenge of the morning -- back in the hotel room to shower up before hitting the road. Yes! Except, water? No! Ooops from the front dek -- "Sorry, we thought everyone was gone." 10 minute wait for water. Now refreshed and ready to hit the road...
